Test Developers Must Make

Test developers must make many important decisions when choosing test scales, creating test items, and determining measurement and scoring approaches. Lets explore what makes a “good test.” Be sure to address the following:

• Discuss normed versus criterion-referenced tests. Which type of test do you think would be best to use to assess your knowledge of psychological testing and assessment in a graduate-level course, and why?
